Meri Hagen’s Place is a family run guest lodge offering serene, comfortable and flexible accommodation at affordable prices for both the business and leisure traveler. We are ideally situated in the tranquil and safe northern suburbs of Harare close to a number of popular restaurants, amenities and entertainment areas.
OUR ROOMS
We offer two spacious self-catering units and one studio unit, all with private entrances. With the added flexibility of interlinking one self-catering unit with the studio unit and the ability to convert the studio unit into a twin room you are bound to find accommodation to suite your purposes at Meri Hagen’s Place. All our rooms come fully equipped with flat screen TVs, satellite TV, free fast WIFI, and inside and outside sitting areas.

To soak up some culture visit the world famous Great Zimbabwe and take a guided tour. Alternatively and more locally you can visit the National Art Gallery or Chapungu Sculpture Park.
Visit a Market
Interested in buying local? Harare offers a number of markets featuring local food, fashion and arts and crafts. Checkout the good old Avondale Market, the hip Hustlers Market or grab some organic produce at Amanzi's Fresh Food Market
Relax
Get away and have some me time at one of the many beautiful gardens spotted around Harare. Raintree Venue is just a short drive away and its a lovely spot to have a picnic. Alternatively grab your gear and spend a great day braaing at Lake Chivero.

Wildlife Junkie? Zimbabwe is blessed with abundant wildlife resources. Take them in and enjoy a lovely day out at places such as Mbizi Game Park, Mukuvisi Woodlands and Wild is Life
Nature
Enjoy all that Zimbabwe has to offer by taking a hike at nearby Domboshawa or Ngoma Kurira. Alternatively you could visit one of the many Botanical Gardens.
